About This Site and the Man Behind the Picks

My name is Victor Hale. I've been building MLB parlay bets with real money for 14 years, and this site exists because I got tired of picks pages that never explain their reasoning or tell you what went wrong when a leg busts.

What is mlb-parlay-picks.com?

It's a daily baseball betting blog. Every morning I publish today's MLB parlay picks with the specific legs, the American odds on each leg, and a plain-English case for why those teams or props are worth combining. No vague "value plays." No mystery model you can't interrogate. Just tickets I'd actually place — and often do.

The site also covers the mechanics: how MLB parlays work, payout math, run lines, NRFI legs, strikeout props. If you're newer to baseball betting, start there before you touch today's slate.

Who is Victor Hale?

I came up reading racing forms at the track. That background taught me one thing above everything else: process beats gut feel, and you document your bets so you can learn from the losers. I apply that same discipline to baseball parlays. Three-team tickets that pay +600 to +1100 are attractive, but they're also coinflips stacked on coinflips unless you're selective about leg quality.

I care about bankroll sizing as much as I care about pick selection. Bet sizing keeps you alive through cold stretches. Cold stretches are guaranteed.

How the picks are built

I start each morning with pitching matchups and bullpen workload, then layer in lineup data and park factors before settling on legs. For NRFI and strikeout props I lean on first-inning ERA and per-nine numbers. I also track how model-backed picks approach the same slate — useful for cross-checking, not for copying blindly.

Before you place anything, make sure you're on a licensed US sportsbook. Check your sportsbook's state license if you're not certain. Must be 21+. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER.

Where to start on this site

If you have a question about a pick or a methodology call, the contact form is at the bottom of the homepage. I read every message. I don't always respond fast, but I do read them.
